This is a HUGE improvement on the default scenery! And superb country for fast low level terrain following ;-)
Just wish I could shut up the GPWS :brick:

Ah yes, I was hoping for something more permanent and not have to do it each time I flew. GPWS seems a bit incogurous in a 50s era jet ;)

Some digging in the SDK docs and I found that by adding the following to the aircraft.cfg

[gpws]
max_warning_height = -1000

and the GPWS has gone! :)

Just have to make sure I don't do any low flying in the dead sea valley ;)

You know you are feckin bored when the highlight of your week is going to MPA to buy a magazine and some Maltesers! The excitement and anticipation.... all dashed when the bus from Mare Harbour is cancelled because it's too windy! :lol:

I spent 6 1/2 months on Gold Rover down there last year and apart from the odd little jaunt to Brazil and Uruguay it was bloody boring patrolling a line up and down between (Night)Mare Harbour and Stanley. I also seemed to miss most of the 25th Anniversary events because I was on duty... but I did get to meet Prince Edward! :roll:

It's great waiting in the passenger terminal to get on that big white 747 - everybody has great big grins on their faces because they are leaving the Falklands!

Thought I'd give this one a bump, I don't suppose anyone knows of any decent FSX scenery for Mount Pleasant or Port Stanley? It's possibly the only thing this scenery is really missing.
