This puts the freeware developer community in an even better light (if that were possible) than ever.

What's supposed to be special about that??

Also the screenshots contain one of my pets hates....shadows turned off.

Someone who turns off shadows doesn't have much eye for realism :dunno:

Read the spiel guys.

You get benches at the flying school!

What more realism do you people want?

I must say, with the abundance of high-quality freeware around, it takes something very special to separate me from my money these days; Active Sky 6.5, Flightzone's Portland airport, that sort of thing. :)

You guy's you!

I was sitting at Frankfurt Main yesterday taking some screenies of our new Vanguard paints when I heard a nee-nah, nee-nah sound in the distance.. but getting closer. Eventually, it got so loud I thought it was outside, even though the siren didn't sound quite right.. not British enough if you see what I mean. I then panned round to see one of the airport fire trucks whizzing past me  Not a bench in sight either ;-)

Not in a million.... Just find Paul Derbyshires site or Derbosoft on the net and its 10X better than that and its free and there is addons to the old speke airport in early 60's or after 67 with the old runways and the new airport. pity that JLA isnt flattened and a starways DC3 isnt parked over near the mounds between the old and new airport - hang on just a mo... I've regressed into my childhood again! Wagging school and catching the 89 bus to speke... I feel all meloncholic now... or was that just the cheese butty Ive just eaten? Either way PD's version is lots better..... I should know... I lived there in a matter of speake-ing  :dancer:
I went to the IFC in Blackpool you know?
