New Camera pictures
As promised, have been using the camera today, took about 40 pictures so far but most of family and friends, but ive uploaded three to my photobucket in their JPEG format straight off the camera with no editing or resizing. Heres the link to the album, just click them open to get a zoomed out view, if viewd at normal image size they are HUGE!!! Click Me Comments are welcome and any tips also welcomed... BTW the cat picture was taken using the auto (no flash) setting at about a foot distance.

Hi Chris,
I did think about you a couple of days ago being able to finally get your hands on the new toy today
It'll take you a while to get used to predicting what you're gonna see from the various settings but so far, so good. Have fun at Conningsby and post some more ;-)

Chris
We had that sunset yesterday here in Nottingham as well - took a photo of it but haven't looked at it yet!
And although not quite the same model as yours, this might be useful:

It is an alternative way of explaining all the controls - the manual is fine if you know what you want to do!
