We have chosen the field oh Jet Heritage as our arena and this will mean aircraft from the US, UK, USSR and others from the 50's to 70's will be rolling off our production line.
Competing with another well known supplier no less....except they pulled the plug on UK stuff LOL.
The price is right if the model has complex systems, not PMDG or Capt sims complex, but half way would suffice many l think, looks to me that it has so l'll be at the front of the queue to test out when released .
Its nice to see some one actively targeting a specific area in history, speaking from experiance its been a generally low yield area in the past but l think more and more people are becoming interested in this genre as there tired of endless remakes of more popular aircraft.
I don't have a real high end box but I tested this out on;
Dual core AMD 2.4
3 gig ram
nvidia 7950gt
In FS9 everything is maxed out and I have my fps set at 35, I fully agree one thing this model is NOT is a framerate killer even over
somewhere like Gatwick or Heathrow. I can say it will be a welcome package in time for Xmas.
Skysim had the good sense to employ a virtual test pilot who is always looking at you from the cockpit of a real Vixen, every time you log onto this forum
Seriously, a few of us here have been testing this in one form or another for months now, we are not involved finacially involved with Skysim, but are happy to contribute our thoughts in creating some first rate British based payware. Although they plan jets from other countries in future, apart from one that I know of (and that was in UK servce for almost 30 years), the upcoming releases all look very British to me .
