First FSX, Flynet, FSInn Flight....thats a lot of F's

Post by johnsmithe15 »

Got the HS748 installed in FSX and set out to do my first FlyNet flight since switching. Route Gatwick to Basle/Mulhouse. For added excitement flew the flight online with FSInn which I am also new to, had some live ATC at departure but after leaving London Control it was UNICOM for the rest of the flight.

I have read online that a lot of people do not like the scenery in FSX, I like it, it
looks more realistic to my eye.

The HS748 also works like a dream in FSX.

I did a couple of screenshots to mark the occasion, I don't normally do them because to be honest I'm crap at them but I was having such a nice flight I thought, what the hell!

Well Johnny ;-)

I don't think any of us here have issues with which version you choose to run. If you prefer FSX, that's your opinion and choice. The beauty of FlyNET is that you can use either! :cpu:

Nice Screenies Johnny. :)

I know of a few that run FS.X...like Dave says you run what version you like just as long as it is capable.

Odd route for a BA 748  ..but that's just me being a purist

Thanks. Which of the airlines might have flown that route, I know there are plenty of paints to choose from.

I like that route descending into the mountains.

Not sure....perhaps Dan Air

BA 748 were usually on the Scottish routes that did mean other places....Jersey for insyance but one end was usually in Scotland.

Doesn't matter.....just me being picky as long as you are having fun that's all that matters :)

But mentioned it just in case you wanted to match closer :)

No no not at all, I do like to get the details right. I try to make the experience as real as possible.

Dan Air it will be on the return leg, which will be now as I am completely insomniac. :o

And yes I have made a few finds through trial and error, got the 737-200 with quite a good panel working. Even the 727, no panel available yet. (Sorry, I know, very NOT British.)
