It those days they made a lot out of things and then when the next big thing came along they just moved on to that and the old one was thrown away.
It wasn't until the sixties that serious organised attempts were made to try and get preservation of aviation history on the go before it was too late....n this contry at least
Previous presevations were one off pet projects without due support.
