I know its not the FSX model, but it does look not too bad. Panel works well... but beware the airbrake!!! Once out it will not go back in! also contact points need adjusting, but other than that, very nice. :) :)

Fear not Ben.. that happens in FS9 too :o I was half way to Schiphol before I managed to get the main gear up. Autostart is an obvious boon but its still not possible (for me anyway) to jump in without doing some reading first. I've found the ground handling a little.. remote too.

Quote..I know its not the FSX model, but it does look not too bad.. Unquote.
Where did you go to school Ben or is this the consequence of a lunchtime bevvy??

Dare I say it but I'm not convinced enough to become the VA's most prolific 146 pilot :worried:

Hi Dave... its a consequence of 05:10 bed this morning after being mind numbed by AI shipping plans! LOL

Its not really fair for me to comment as its not the FSX one, I love the panel, but think there are some things that need sorted before it was released... if the contact points and airbrakes are giving greif in FS9 too. ;-)

Th FDE could do with a tweak I guess as it is version 1 this will improve but if anyone does any mods please let me know I would love to try them out.
Re airbrake, the rear airbrake will deploy on its own if you put the spoiler into the arm position then when on the ground full position, the lift dumpers on the wing will then deploy, as for not being able to retract them I have not found that at all??

Hi All,

Just a short word about the lift spoilers. They work very well but unfortunately not with the # key. The flightsimulator just allows returning the spoiler when the spoiler is set to 100%. This is not possible here, because the lift spoilers are in a spoiler area of 80 to 100%. When the lift spoilers are not out, the spoiler position is just 80%. To remove the lift spoilers you also return the spoilers from 100% to 80%. When you now use the # key, the FS try to set the spoiler to 100% and not to 0%. That's why the airbrake and lift spoiler must be removed with the mouse in he pedestal panel. Maybe MS allows a better controlling of the spoilers (more variables for it) in a newer version (maybe already in FSX).

Hope you like the panel anyhow.

Best Regards
Matthias

Hi Mattias

Firstly thank you very much for you excellent panel :)

Thanks also for explaining the function of the spoilers...I was baffled as to why but it all makes sense now..good ole FS compromise. At least you took the trouble to get it to work even if in a round about way.

ATB :)

Cheers Matthais... I knew there would be a reason! :goodman: The panel is brilliant (again), I love going through the startup procedure! :dancer: Make me feel that its a bit more real :dancer:

Thanks for all your work!
