A few shots from our return from Cyprus

Post by Pringle »

As part of our course we have to take some aircraft which have been in Iraq and bring them back to the UK. Or take some nice shiny aircraft which have spent a while in depth maintenance down to Cyprus. So as you can imagine, with the aircraft coming back things don't generally work! I managed to end up on an aircraft that wouldn't give up and got us home!

Routing was Cyprus -> Kos (Night stop)
Kos -> Corfu (Night stop due to poor weather)
Corfu -> Naples (Refuel) -> Nice
Nice -> Chateauroux (Refuel) -> Benson

Here are some choice photos of that trip.

When I say old girl, I mean it has been a long time since it saw blighty. Therefore its getting a bit tired! But this one kept on fighting!
