Trev,

How does it fly in comparison to the Alphasim Vixen ? :flying:

I love this plane but it encounters high speed stalls very easily and in landing configuration needs loads of power to prevent a decent akin to a brick. I've tweaked the FD files to a few times to correct these behaviours with only limited success. I suppose of course that's how it may fly in reality but I'd expect better of a de Havilland .... :o

Degsy

Degsy..

There is NO comparison between the 2 models mate. The Patchsim model flies like cr@p and that's the long and short of it. Mine has been relegated to AI duty ;-)

Yes,
I have to agree with Dave, this model actually flies as good as it looks. In fact she is the most delightful aircraft when making carrier approaches, its almost as she wants to get back for a rest!
Brian and his team are putting the final touches to things now, I am not sure what the release date is, but it will be worth the wait.
EDIT.The release date from Skysim (all things being well) is mid-December, just in time for Christmas! Here are two shots taken from todays beta sortie, note the new (selectable on-board) missile and tank fit :flying:

The sky effects are by Sky Environment Ultra for FS9, nice but quite subtle.

Love those last two pics Trev, and I've spotted something on the first one, one of the missile shoes is not appearing, off to fix that now.
