Yeah, the "series premier" of TG was the first episode after Hammond's crash and this week was the Robin shuttle launch (actually, airing as I write this) so we are 1 series behind the UK. Last week's showing of the US episode (aka the 'Big Stig' episode) was quite hilarious. I especially can't believe that they were stupid enough to try and cross Alabama with those things written on the side. It's not that Alabaman's are violent, they're a very proud people (as most Southerner's are) and we take offense to foreigners coming into the US and doing stuff like that as if it's some funny joke. It would have been one thing had they not acted the way they did when they got out of the cars and only helped rile up people by acting like stupid tourists instead of just using the old adage of discretion being the better part of valor and moving on or removing the paint and explaining what was going on to the people in the first place.

Well, I almost split in two with laughter seeing those guys riding through Alabama with "Hiliary for President", :Country Music is Rubbish", and NASCAR S**ks" written on their vehicles. I thought it was a funny joke, even if the Alabama rednecks didn't.
ducks........ :lazy:
Thank heaven for BBC America!
Talking about beeing a bit behind the UK - we still see episodes of "Are you Being Served" from the mid seventies (Ithink) on PBS here.
The idea was funny, the execution was asking for trouble. Had they kept it jovial instead of taking it to the limit, I think the joke would have been on everyone instead of on them.
Shhh you didnt hear this from me but this is from a reliable source which works at RAF Coningsby, He said that the one broardcasted was the forth filmed try!!! Yes they did it four times... However on the first time they tried it the Typhoon was clean with no centre tank and took off in the first 100ft/meters (cant remeber which) and went virtical upto the 1 mile height (about 5300 ft) and came back down just as richard had turned around!!! Yes that is what surposidly happened!!! Again the 2nd and 3rd times Richard was beaten by far!!!
So over all the Typhoon kicked Richards back side On TG they also said that the Typhoon has loads of computers to keep it flying so I was wondering do they do Virus Scans on them?
