Hi Tekman :)

Before you finalise the release of this little beauty.. would it be possible for you to 'tone down' that darned aerial wire please ;-)

Wow, you should have made that into a competition Tek, I do not think I have ever come across that aircraft ever before and I thought I was a bit of an 'expert' on post-war British aviation.Very nice model of a very pretty aircraft. It seems it both flew and was scrapped in the same year 1947 and only two were made...another British aviation sucsess story then ;-)

Ha ha ha ha, actually Dave I’m way ahead of you, I changed that cable a week or so ago, just too lazy to create new screenshots , so no worries there then

Regards

Tek

Tis a bit of an oddball one this and damn hard to get info on but had some very specialised help with this though never found a cockpit photo so had to improvise a bit which I really don't like doing but often it's very difficult to find this sort of detail especially on the more obscure types

just a little footnote to the year the Concordia was scrapped. It was in 1948 but still it didn't have a very long life and yes I agree a pretty little airliner

Well done that man ;-)

Funny you know.. I was looking through a pile of books today looking for info on something totally different but came across an aircraft that looked just like that but it wasn't one :o Can I find that picture again.. you bet I can't

I was about to post that it bears more than a passing resemblance to the Scandia

Like me Leif that would be the first and probably only one that would jump straight to mind as not only is it similar but very rare having served mainly with SAS and VASP.

Dag nab it.. nope. :-( The tail looked very much like that too. This is YOUR fault Mr Russell  Right, what exactly did I look in today

:doho: EDIT.. found the picture I was thinking of and now, the resemblance between the two isn't so pronounced. It was the AW Apollo :o Must be something about that tail as the rest of the aircraft looks nothing like the Concordia
