In all the excitement...........

Post by Filonian »

I don't recall this being posted, so I am assuming that in all the excitement of THE first flight, this news was missed.........

Amidst all the excitement of the post restoration first flight of XH558, it
is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which appears
to have gone unnoticed.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote 'The Hokie Kokey' died peacefully at
the age of 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.

They put his left leg in.

And then the trouble started...............

You're born, you live, then you die. That's what it's all about. ;-) Rest in peace Mr. LaPrise. You brought a lot of smiles into this world.
