Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi,

Gregory Air Services a part of the Air Gregory group of companies formed to operate aircrafts above 12,500lbs weight. The DC-3 was based at Newcastle flying ad-hoc charter flights between 1965 and 1968.

Rig Air, formed 1969 jointly by Anglian Air Charter and Norfolk Airways to provide support flights for the oil companies off the East Anglian coast. In August 1970 Rig Air became part of the newly formed Air Anglia Ltd

The two I remember seeing most were both painted in that brick red colour Piper used alot - hence the Gs were the same colour
used to see them at Denham all the time when we visited with GASUH and GATOU, I know there also had at least one done in
Blue as well (GAVXD I believe) .

Thanks for the offer John

And give me the word when youve uploaded all the new packages and I'll get them published asap

It's a much finer 'G' on the twin Comm than on the DC3 so I've thinned it down a bit

Lifted

Thank you sir

It really is much thinner - funny how your memory works - it always seemed to fill the TwinComs fin -
BTW I was totally taken aback by the DC3 I dont think it ever visited Luton (at least not when I was present)
