Re: From Rugby to......!!
Just seen on the BBC Ten O'clock news, that there are investigations into fuelling irregularities at BMW.
If BMW were to be deducted points, then Hamilton could be awarded the title.
However, I don't want it to be like that. I wanted Hamilton to win! But I wanted him to finish punching the air, getting hugged by his teammates, spraying Champaign on the podium.
This season has finished, lets look forward to the next.
The best man didn't win, but at least it wasn't Alonso.

Re: From Rugby to......!!
Living in 'Alonso land', I watched a bit of ITV and Spanish TV coverage. I had a lot of respect for Alonso until this summer, I hope he goes to Toyota or Renault as McLaren will be a nicer place without him stabbing them in the back whenever anything does not go his way!
As a fan since 1965 :o , in a way I am glad the Lewis did not win today, it will make him a much better driver over the next decade or so, although I have never been a Kimi fan, winning the most number of races does make him a worthy champion, I do not think he will get another chance though ;-)

You're right, wouldn't be the best way for Lewis to win, but I'm sure he'll take it and the number 1 that comes with it. Kimi was superb for the final half of the season but it would be great to have a Brit up the top again!

FIA now say Williams and BMW ran fuel at below ambient temps, and ARE ILLEGAL......will they have the balls to chuck them out (they would if they were silver), or not...watch this space, that would make Lewis 4th and Champion 2007 :kissu:

Thinking about it, although I would be over the moon for Lewis, you have to feel for Kimi 'Fun Boy' Räikkönen

Reading on F1-ITV.com It looks like the fuel temp was lower than was allowed but to win it that way i think is wrong especially when you look back to 1995 with Schmacher and Coulthard having the same thing happen to them but only the constuctors points were docked.....No good for Maclaren now though is it.....
