We would have to be pretty quick Jonesey...If you look at the numbers in that document and the fact that McLeland Field is only 1.6 feet AMSL! I have to admit that I chose a bad site all those years ago when I was flying slowly around this coast looking for a place to build my base :$ All I can say is thank God for Holger Sandmann :welldone:

Here is the gap as Holger has set it for us; viewed in today's rather poor weather:-

The Hubbard glacier is behind the Baron and you can see the gap with that small island in it (muraine debris I imagine)...I have placed a small light tower on it 8)
