British Westpoint

Post by RAF_Quantum »

Hi,

British Westpoint Airlines Ltd, based in Exeter operated Dragon rapides, DH104 Doves, DH114 Heron and DC-3's between 1960 and 1966. Originally known as Westpoint Aviation Ltd it changed it's name to British Westpoint Airlines Ltd in 1963. It was bought by Metropolitan Air Movements in 1965 who became the holding company for British Westpoint. BW continued operating under their own name until financial problems caused them to go into liquidation in 1966.

G-AMPO leased from 'Aviation Overhauls' 1/64 - 12/64. (Aviation Overhauls was a company formed by the ex Starways directors who had retained ownership of the Starways DC-3's and one Viscount when Briutish Eagle took over all the Starways routes)

Is there a maximum of liveries which can be included in one "aircraft" file? If so, I must be rapidly approaching it now.

Brilliant work John, keep it up.

Hi Graham,

I hit the maximum with the Skyways repaints. I think I'd got to @ 190ish and they weren't all displaying. I duplicated the folder and changed UI variation from DC-3 to DC3 for the second folder and the new ones go in there.
