On a cold and frosty morning...

Post by nazca_steve »

Here's a new 231 OCU T.4 skin (WJ874 before she went all shiny and blue) I finished last night (yes, in preparation for the release!!) as seen on a chilly October morning at Wyton. I'm still working on the Sea Hawk but needed a morale boost. I also included a snap of an IAF T.4 I also did in the interim.

LOL, yes, still teasing as usual, Graham, sorry about that. I did toy with the idea of not showing them, but decided to risk it instead! But hey, it does show off your nice AI traffic at Wyton, I especially like the shot of 'BM' taxying past the E.15 'BK' - 231 OCU squadron-mates.

I talked to Paul the other day and he says he is close to finishing and looking forward to starting a new project (I bet).

OK, OK, I will try not to tease about the release anymore, I just like to show what IS coming up at some point soon. Yes, 'BM' was pretty grubby, at .least in the reference photo I was working from, but I like grubby, and this fitted the bill.

Regarding the SH, I am attempting to build and repaint, but I am thinking of requesting help on the air file side of it. I've a long way to go so no holding your breath, but I will post progress reports as and when I have made some.

Finally, the T.4 on 231 OCU was presumably used for training.
