First flight done.

Post by STEPS »

Finally got my first flight for CBFS under my belt, EGSS-EGMC. I think it went OK, the only thing I couldn't figure out when checking my Flight Report on FlyNET was why it said I hadn't bought any fuel when (I thought) I had.

It took a while for the penny to drop; when I picked up the Dove it had 76.3lbs fuel, FSnav said the flight would need 43Ibs; so if I put in 119lbs then after the flight there should be roughly 76lbs left in it. However instead of typing in the total amount of fuel (119lbs) into the client I must have typed the amount needed for the flight (43lbs) :dunno:

I'll be taking her back to EGSS later today; I'll just have to make sure I get the fuel right this time!

I stick to good old imperial pounds, none of this new-fangled kilos nonsence for me ;-)

Yes, it's good to have the first one in; now I've just got all the rest to worry about :worried:
