Thanks Trev. I don't really fancy another 100+mb of download again (FS9 and FSX models) but one must I suppose ;-)

In spite of good external planes (and Alpha creates good ones , I must admit) I would like to stress that cockpit quality is increasing very fast also in some freeware stuff ( I am so happy with the DM Comet VC...). I don't undestand why they (Alpha and not only Alphas ) prefers to put on the market several planes each year with internal views and cockpits lacking of basic details , with same gauges and with lay-outs of pure fantasy. In my opinion the "office" is the most important think for a FS simmer, together with realiable flight models. Ok, I would like to have all my favorite planes in my FS9 but I prefer to have 10 marvellous planes installed ( WOP, RealAir, Skyunlimited, MAAM or the Rick Piper and DM ones, just to say a few ones) ) instead of a mass of planes with 2D and VC cockpits very very incomplete . :dunno:

I think that you will find that Alpha models come from a collection of developers. This means that some are better than others.

Fair comment Trev, but they all have the Alphasim 'label' applied to them, so Phil, Dan and the boys need to ensure a decent level of quality control and a consistent standard.

The same applies to Aerosoft also.
And if you look at Aerosoft's forums, you'll see that there are TONS of bugs in their most recent Seahawk/Jayhawk release for FSX.....
