I think that pic was put in fo comparison for those who are passing through and can see how elegant the Ten looks.

Nice shots, Chris. Particularly like the smoking, and black tailed VC-10's.
Nikon D50 at a guess?

One small point, the sensor could do with a clean - I do this regularly on my Nikons (D200 and D100). Happy to advice if needed.

Hi Kevin, yes I was going to take my D50 in for a service as I have noticed the black marks and realised it wasn't the lens, as it occurs on whatever lens is on. But if you can spare any advice on how to clean it up, I would be grateful.

As for the Tristar, I quite like them. The third engine really adds character, especially head on (or near head on). Also the wings are set further back (to account for the weight of that engine) and so gives them a different look compared with the twin engine airliners. I think they look much better in the new grey colour though - white doesn't seem to suit them.

But...no, I certainly wouldn't put it before our beloved Ten!! Thanks for all your comments! ;-)

Get a blower brush, remove the bristles and then give the sensor a quick blast of air whilst taking care not to touch it.

Best thing to do about your sensor is to start as Jonesey suggests, but make sure that you dont allow any of the blower to pass through the shutter area.

If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest getting a sensor cleaning kit, they're about £20, and are dead easy to use, these are specially made pads that you can use to "wipe" the sensor with, dont use cotton buds though!
