Bristol 175 Britannia

Post by Aeronaves de Mexico »

Hello, I introduce myself, my name is Eduardo Rocha, and I have been around this forum for some time now, I'm writing my first post, to ask for any advice and help in the development of FS aircraft. Currently i'm in plans for developing the Whispering Giant and if possible in it's different series, the programs I have for this are both FSDS and GMAX, but as noted before, I request some advice from the established designers. By the way if anyone in this forum has material about the Britannia, I would be thankful if you could provide it for a more precise modeling.

Greetings.
Eduardo Rocha

Hello Eduaordo and welcome

A Britannia is already on the go here and was mentioned on the Brabazon thread the other day.

It was taken a long time to source accurate plans

Hello, well it's nice to know someone more expertised than me it's working on the good old Brit, in fact Mark Cranston had told me that you were considering the plane, but didn't knew and exact date for it's development, so I was decided to do it but better to be on your hands than on mine , by the way, I wonder if the beautiful girl that is up there will be stretched for the 300 series and if it's not much to ask for please let me be beta tester, I currently have a real Britannia flight manual (302 series) from the 2 ex Aeronaves de Mexico ones, I think mine is from XA-MEC, if it is of some help, then just ask for it!

Greetings
Eduardo

Thanks Eduardo

The model is at the moment a 300....just the angle makes it look short and the way the perpective view make it look.

Check out the Brabazon thread to see a couple more if you want.

It will be produced eventually as the 100, 250, 300 300F, plus the Canadair :-# :worried: :fart: versions

It has been on the go for a while now in research but as I mentioned accurate plans were hard to come by and I was held by promises that were not back up, so only now am I in a postition to make a start amongst the Superfreighter work.

I have some manuals being sent but I may need extra information for that mark so perhaps I can come back to you on that.

The beta tresting is done in house with our behind the scene team of developers who are involved constently with testing and sourcing/support and working on their own projects so I am well covered in that area, but thanks again for the offer.

Regards

Garry

Well, if it isn't Tony Madge :), well I have some new 707 paints that were asked for some time ago, and sorry I didn't send them before but I had quite big problems, so there was really no time for painting and lot less for flying...., but i'm back in business. As for russian aircraft yes, my last repaints before bad things happened were those Malév 134's, and still I have big bunch of delayed repaints to do. By the way I have a matching pair for that Trans Global Airlines 707 of yours, let's say a 707 from another movie :-# .

Greetings.

Sorry to disappoint you there Eduardo (welcome by the way), but Tony's (Madge, that is) "nickname" is surprisingly:

Tony Madge...

This here Tony is another Tony...... a bit like the Dave-things we have around here as well .... :dunno: Something with growing up being British I guess

oops............... my bad.... :worried:

And yes the Tu-134 has been redone and upgraded to V 1.0, thou as many others I have problems with flying the thing, since I have no idea nor knowledge of russian, but as for painting that's a whole different story , mainly my russian aircraft are only Malév, because of a cute Hungarian girl who is the cream of my coffee.
