FSDS3.5.1....

Post by DelP »

An update for FSDS3.5 is available at Abacus.

Download and install the 3.5 update, the 3.5.1 patch is included.

From the readme:

Change: 9/18/2007

Rebuild the installation to include two missing textures:

ds_glass.bmp

ds_propdisk.bmp

Change: 10/03/2007

Version 3.5.1 with minor fixes and additions:

Fixed night textures in XToMDL compiler

Fixed .x file output for generating scenery using MakeMDL

Fixed incorrect FS9 path display in Compile Preferences

Added Browse to Flight Sim folder in Compile Preferences

Added AnimFrameLimit parameter to default.cfg file
To customize the maximum number of frames allowed in an FSDS animation add 'AnimFrameLimit:###' where ### = number of frames

Added ModelDef.xml path to Compile preferences to allow customization

Does that upgrade (all 32 meg) include 3.51 Rick, or is it the original upgrade (from 3 to 3.5) that has been out sometime?

Hi Trev

the instructions in the e mail sent to all registered FSDS3 owners said download the full file and uninstall 3.5 then run installer again.

Thanks Rick, I left my old e/mail behind in the UK! As I only have FSDS3, I will just follow these D-Load instructions after deleting the old 3....I think

Which I totally ignored ( RTFM ) but it doesn't seem to have had any detrimental effects - it uninstalled the existing installation and put the nice shiny 3.51 version in it's place. :) Doesn't seem to be making me any less useless though!

Andy

Mine did the same thing - updated all of my files - and even moved my pathetic efforts at building a Chilton Monoplane :)
