I downloaded the 2.8 flight sim manager and it told me that I was using an old version and needed to go to the authors website to get the latest version. Now, his website is down and I eventually found that 2.8.5 is the latest version (Right?) but when starting that up I still get the 'This version is too old'
How do I stop it or is there another program available to do just the same?
Cheers
Tom

Re: Flight Sim Manager problems
Flight Sim Manager is no longer being developed. There was a version of 2.8.5 which had the datelock removed, but I can't find it at the moment.
Alternatively, there is a utility on Avsim / Flightsim etc which sets the system date back, starts FSM then resets the date, thus bypassing the problem. A search for "Flight Sim Manager" on either site will throw it up.

I've found the modified file. It's on Flightsim.com, filename fsmgr.zip

Thanks very much, couldn't find it at first.

Re: Flight Sim Manager problems
One point to note with that program - it assumes that FlightSimManager is located at C:\Program Files\Ranainside\FlightSimManager and it won't work if it located anywhere else. Since my location was different, I used a hex editor to change the path in FSMGR.DLL to where my FlightSimManager.exe is located.
