I see what you mean about the gap Garry - I didnt think you would see light if the gills were closed

Dave I have to agree with you about the weathering it is a little over the top.

All in All I think I stick and wait for Rick to finish the better Bristol

Yep, I've also decided to wait for Ricks Blenheim, and I'll stick with Thicko's CFS2 freebie for the short term.

The weathering is more like you would have on a Spitfire type fighter with the stepping twisting and scuffing cause by cockpit entry, often under scramble conditions.......and even more so on leaving.......I would think

Is there a paintkit with it? If so I'll consider buying it, at least that way I can fix the excessive weathering. I'll live with the other things until Rick's comes out, plus it's nice to have the Mk IV.

Ive sat back and waited to listen to comments from you chaps as you all seem to know what you are all talking about (mostly anyhow hehe :o ;-)(joke) ) no serious, but before spending my pennies on more Alphasim aircraft, for my own reasons i think i will yet again give Alphasim a miss on this purchase as the Blenheim is one favourite aircraft of mine and i was looking forward to having this in my hanger. Such a shame also as i was looking forward to slapping some UKMIL Dulux paint on it aswell for others to enjoy but after then looking in horror at DaveBs head on shot with the flaps looking like thier about to fall off! how poor is that for a payware product! I suppose yet again another patch/update will be released with basic fixes (such a pet hate of mine, grrrrr....) will be out soon.

Yet another miss for me im affraid Alphasim... :'(

Hi Guy's,

It's a shame cause the public over at Alpha are creaming their combined jeans. I'd like to think there'll be a patch to sort out the flaps.. we'll have to wait and see. Once more, hat's off to the beta testers

Chris.. 2 paintkits come with the pack, one each for the Mk1 and Mk4. These exceed the size of the models and then some so if you go for it.. put aside 20mins or so unless you're on 8mb Broadband. I was seeing a steady 240Kb\sec and I'm only on 2mb :o They look for all the world like they've been done by the chap who did Ed's Spitfires and some WoP stuff. Good on frames but on this occassion.. a little OTT for me ;-)

Not totally fair DB, at least one member of the public made it clear that he would not be buying this one, and why I, sorry 'he', would not be buying it!

I think I'll wait and see if they patch before I purchase.
