Quite a late build 748 it was repurchased by BAe and used as the 2B/LFD demonstrator.

It's career came to an abrupt end after being leased out to Helitours, when it was shot down in Sri Lanka whilst on approach.

Not the kind of end you imagine a 748 to meet.

BTW Techy

At one time it was leased to Britidh Airways in landor but without the fly to serve crest on the fin top

Also beiong a LFD version that could be a variation to paint.......hint hint :dance:
