Late (very) releases! Kittyhawk 737-200 African paints.

Post by Philip Foglar »

Hi guys,

Decided to get a few of my unfinished/unreleased paints done and uploaded to Avsim - has also been uploaded to Flightsim and Simviation. These are still from my 737-200 project and there are still a few more to be released as well as updates for some of the earlier released paints - that will also follow in due course.

Started painting these South African Cargo liveries end of last year and with just a few minor things to still do it has been gathering dust until now. So here it is, three liveries of SAA's Cargo -200 from a few years ago to more recently. Erick didn't release a cargo model so this is on the passenger model and the cargo doors on these planes are different from the typical 737-200 cargo planes out there.

South African Airways retired their fleet of 737-200s a few years ago but shortly after that introduced ZS-SIM to their South African Airlink fleet. The 737-200 lives on!!

Another livery that I have been sitting on for a long time now. Air Tanzania Boeing 737-200 - might still do their old colours some day.

Comments as always welcome.

All the best,

Philip.

Hi Techy,

They are actually already online for the last couple of days. Check Avsim, Flightsim or Simviation and do a do a search for "foglar" - then search by date.

All the best,

Philip.

Maybe the 737-200 counts as classic and South Africa and Tanzania used to be British? :dunno:

Well, he did preview these liveries many moons ago as well on this forum with a warm reception, so I think it only appropriate that he be allowed to show off the finished product. :)

Hi guys,

Since I have painted a few Classic British liveries in the past and am a big fan of Classic British planes - have tons if not all of the releases that are mostly discussed here and even tweaked Rick's Chipmunk's contact points which was released in his update back then. Just wanted to share with you chaps what I have released albeit not necessarily Classic British liveries, but with that in mind I am still working on the RyanAir Hertz livery which I previewed here earlier this year.

Thank you for the kind words guys, I do appreciate it.

All the best,

Philip.

Do you know out of interest if a 737-200 has been done in Channel Express colours mate?
