What great vids Garry  The Nimrods unstick was very reminiscent of the early VC10 takeoffs.. a sharp pull followed by a very flat attitude followed by the climb. Loved the smoke and very impressive RoC on the second vid. Does that sound like a real jet or what ;-) The third vid.. well, little can be said

Great aren't they :)

I found the Nimrod's take off very Comet like with the almost immediatiate undercarriage retract followd a second or two later by a steeper climb.

It is quite rare to see films of Nimrods just taking without the down the runway frequent cut and edited clips on films....just a film of it happening...nothing more nothing less and all the better for it

Thanks for sharing those videos, Garry. :) My speakers were positively crackling when the VC-10's flew past.
