Post by DelP »

Hi Folks,

Interested members might like to know that the FSX upgrade for FSDS is now available at
Abacus ;-)

ATB,

Seems to have made progress... various compile options for FS9 and FSX....

It seems to be sods law that a software upgrade arrives in the middle of work in progress...more distractions and things to learn

I've been waiting for this one though ;-)

Basics shouldn't change much as the compilers should cover the differences...I suppose it will mainly be materials and animations .....but I bet there's the odd thing in there to catch you out :fart:

If it was easy it wouldn't be fun

Apart from the obvious changes to allow use of the SDK FS-X (not completely, for examples, fresnel ramp textures, etc), Louis has slipped in some tidbits that make the modelling a little bit easier. But not to worry, it's still a masochist's modelling paradise!
