VC-10 around the world in FS9
Chaps,
Currently doing a round-the-world trip in a BOAC VC-10 (the Addictive version), doing flights here and there between working and at weekends. Sad isn't it?
Anyway, have done various London - Africa routes, plus a London-Beirut-Bombay-Colombo-KL-Singapore and am now embarked on The Big One: London-NY-San Fran-Honolulu-Nandi-Sydney, as they actually did it in the 60s. As I type, I am 1580 miles out of Nandi, from Honolulu at 390 and hoping we don't have a power cut ;-)
I may break from the timetable to come back, and do something interesting like Sydney-Singapore-Honkers-Tokyo-Singapore-Bombay-Tehran etc etc. Not sure yet. Hardly worth informing Reuters about, but thought some of you might be interested...

Speechless :o
If you're going around the world in the 'Addictive' VC10.. you're not going in a VC10
Dave Chester (bless him) will be rolling in the aisle if he find's you've posted that information here!!

Er, am I missing something here chaps? Should be using David Maltby's VC-10 instead? I've seen references to it but haven't tried it. Should I?

Grace..
You ARE pulling my plonker I presume  This is the main support forum for models produced by DM, RickP and the resident Guru's
A few words of advice. Keep your Addictive VC10 for AI (preferably somewhere you're never going to go again) and download DM's VC10's NOW
Failure to do so may have your membership here curtailed and redirected to the Addictive forum where you can spend your time chatting to the other happy user

There is ONLY one real VC10 and that is David Maltby's FREEWARE VC10.
David C is a copycat if I EVER saw one. He tries to copy DM's every move to the bits, but is sadly behind in ability.
He simply hasn't got the talent, and he even tries to spin money on it.
Speaking of him here his a deadly sin. You've are excused as a newbie, but now you've said it, go wash your mouth, and let me hear you write, that you'll be doing the flight with one of DM's fantastic aircraft instead.
Believe me, I know what I'm' talking about.
By the way ... welcome to this cosy forum

Re: VC-10 around the world in FS9
Just downloaded it. Oh God, what was I thinking? Have yet to fly it, but the sound and textures ALONE make me realise what I have been missing. :yipeee:
Thanks all - I am duly chastened...
