You have been enjoying yourself over there, haven't you Dave!

I look forward to downloading the update. I'm also enjoying flying her, fits in really nicely in my Golden Wings install, especially with the addition of the Operation Valkyrie stuff.

BTW, slightly OT OFFTOPIC , but there were some posts over at the Outhouse that the Groundcrew Design website will be closing it's doors in mid-October. I believe plans are afoot to make the files available elsewhere, although there may be a hiatus of a month or so. As DB mentioned, they have a rather nice Bf 110G-4 and G-2 available, so probably a good idea to pop over and pick up a copy while you still can.

Good call and thanks for that Andy

If my poor mum knew I spent my spare time flying a Heinkel 111, she'd never speak to me again. She's the lady that threw out all of her tins of Corned Beef when the Falklands was invaded and hasn't bought any since! :worried:

Think I've pulled the 110 before but can't find it so I'm off again. My German is getting better even if my flying leaves a lot to be desired

Blimey..
Patches for the 111 are available now. Go to my downloads and pull either the patches or full models with patch installed ;-)

EDIT#2
Hang fire troops. While the FD has been tweaked to a satisfactory level, problems still exist with the gauge file (the fuel system again). It's nothing too drastic but will be completely confusing for a new buyer. I'll keep you up to speed ;-)

Final Edit
Okey doh.. Herbie has reconfigured the lamps so for me.. job done. Give it a few hours for Phil to update the file again and then go get it ;-)

I only nearly lost my rag once due to a splitting headache causing a total sense of humour failure ;-) It doesn't do to go in 'All guns blazing' as that attitude will always receive a cold shoulder (it does with me anyway) It also helped that I firmly believe in the model as being a 'good un' and was worth pursuing and I think I got that across. I'm certain that it was a massive embarrassment to Phil and that also helped on getting it right. A good result in the end and best of all, the model is as it should be. Downside.. if ever the good lady actually looks at my Visa bill, especially for the last month.. I am in DEEP SH1T :worried:

Looking forward to something soon to be released that I know will be well received over here. I'll say no more, other than my plastic is ready ;-)

TBH mate.. I have no idea how long 'soon' is going to be. All I know is that I'm going to buy it

I dunno about the Tonka  I'm sure Alpha will do it justice but I already seem to have a shed full of these things already. If it's less frame hungry than the current options (we both know what 2 x freeware F3's can do in MP!!) then who knows ;-)

FSDSMAN on the Alpha forums answering a post from AndyG re the Sea Venom..
the actual visual model and it was originally intended to go with the Eagle but that will be a separate release to keep costs down
:welldone: :yipeee: :welldone: :yipeee:  :partyman:

Operative words in that statement.. Eagle.. separate release :bandit: ;-)

Dave,

Thanks for your work beta testing the Alpha model ;-) and indeed to the Alpha team for rectifying the problems you pointed out.

Visually the model itself looks fantastic. Having seen the preview shots I felt certain I was going to get it, however after hearing the early reports I was put off. I’m therefore really pleased the bugs have been ironed out.

Good news regarding HMS Eagle also. I wonder how far along the Alpha Seahawk has progressed. It’ll look great on deck.
