Hi Eddie.... just press enter at that point if there is no lable. The volume lable is the name of the drive (if it has one), if not just leave blank and press enter.

I did that matey and it did not allow me to go any further. It says An incorrect volume label was entered for this drive.

One way of finding out if there is a label is:

From Start/Run
enter cmd into text box and press return
at the command prompt type d: and then press return
then type label and press return

This is what I got so disk volume is Programs

D:\>label
Volume in drive D: is Programs
Volume Serial Number is B887-FEF5
Volume label (ENTER for none)?

Delete current volume label (Y/N)? n

If you want to have no label to make it easier for the conversion, type Y in the final question.

To see the Volume name of a drive just go "My Computer" and RIGHT click on the drive...Now choose properties...On the General Tab the Volume Name is in the box at the top of the window...This is the name that they were asking for...I've converted both my wife's laptops to NTFS and remember the point. It will not start the conversion till you give it that correct name.

Hi Ian, Yeah, I've just spent the whole of yesterday making a batch file work :brick: I did get it working in the end, after a bit if finger trouble that cost me some hours :-( Anyway, I'm very delighted with it and can now program AI Traffic to work a four week pattern, getting round the one week limitation of Ttools...So when I get back from my RTW Tour I can re-create it as Traffic with a switch on the desktop to trigger it...In the process I fitted McLeland Field with a Spitfire Gate Guard. The actual spitfire used is the Contra Rotating Prototype...But when the Traffic RTW Tour starts, the actual Spitfire is changed four times during the tour to indicate which week of the tour is current. At the end of the tour it switches itself off and reverts to the "Contra" until the next time the Tour is triggered...Mmmm the joys of DOS . I must confess, I didn't expect to be messing with this on one of my Standover days in Honolulu
