You have a different error one side to the other. :think:

Have you looked to see in what way they differ on your paintlayer as this is unusual.

I could be that the error is only a fraction of how it appears.....but if you can get one side you should be able to get the other :think:

There seems to be something similar at the back beneath the rudder where one side is differnt to the other.

I tend to paint one side and copy and reposition for the other.

That way both sides are identical.

OK that won't work with cammo but for symetrical paint it's the best way.

I also notice Steve's posts about setting brushes and suggesting I can help you with PSP.9

I can't help you with PSP as I don't use it, although I do have PSP.8..............but many here do

I use ARC and Photoshop . It might help though if I knew quite what you had planned to use that for as effects will not repeat in an ordinary fashion but be local to the area.

Little question for the wise and knowledgable.......The markings that we see on A/C in game i wondered if there is a website to go to where i can get things like warning signs or ejector markings and the like....Anyone know?

Well, I'm not 100% sure you can get everything you need on here, but Simmers Paint Shop (yes, I'm plugging it again but I don't work for them ) has a lot of good downloadable markings and some good paint swatches:

As for the PSP9 situation, sorry about that Garry, for some reason I thought you used it, but my mistake. As you say, I'm sure someone else on here can translate the brush tutorial into it though.

Hi Techy,

I have PSP 10 so hopefully creating a brush tip shouldn't be too different for you...as an example I've made a line of rivets to use as a brush tip.

1: Select Brush tool

2: Select an option from Tool Presets..here I selected a 5 pixel square and resized it to 2 pixels.

3: Create a new image...this is 64 x 64 pixels. I've applied a line of the 2 pixel squares.

4: Click the 'Create brush tip from selection' button, then give your brush tip a name. You can see I've saved it as 'large rivets'....



Hope this helps....

EDIT..sorry Techy, just realised that this didn't quite answer your question...you can create a brush tip from an image but it will be in black and white with whatever overlay colour you have selected on your palette. Have a look in the help files about creating 'Picture Tubes'...

Thanks for all the help so far but i still haven't figured out the error i am getting at the moment so i am going to restart that section from scratch and do it bit by bit to find the culprit....

You will need to reduce the opacity of the panel lines way down.

You need to rotate the "ejection seat" labels so the top follows the hood angle and also sort out the larger white border on them ;-)

Keep it up, Techy, you are definitely getting there when compared to the original. Can anyone confirm if the model was designed to work with reflective textures? If so, you could always give her a bit of a sheen...

Here it is with a bit of a sheen But i have so many problems that i need help with.....will post the piccies in a bit !



Sorted out the opacity of the lines and sorted the ejector white lines also

Ok here are my grips......Look at the picture above and you will see a green square infront of the right engine nacelle.......to remove that green square i get this...check bump under nose........


OK now if i fill the front undercarriage door i get this strange quirk......First picture is showing the undercarriage door filled in with yellow.....

Second picture is showing the overlap i am getting......


And finally i cannot find how to fill the side of the U/C doors as shown here......


Can anyone help at all.....?
