It undoubtedly is Brian, in which case it is the RAF Museums Heinkel.

I have also found this image

but I really need more evidence before I am prepared to add virtual paint to virtual paper. :dunno:

Just a quick thought but is this not actually correct modelling of propeller torque, or did the He-111's props spin in opposite directions to counter this?
Hi Chris.. sri I missed your post earlier. Yes mate, it very probably is but the current reason given doesn't explain why I'm seeing it (eg that it's props don't contra rotate). He quoted 'American' engines but truth to tell, none of the Alpha models I've tried (for comparison) have contra rotating props and all run anti clockwise. If I had P-Torque added, then fairy snuff but my realism settings are 'Easy' No P-Torque.. No Gyro effect e t c so.. the darned thing should fly straight as far as I'm concerned. I dread to think what it's like with all the sliders maxed out :o The 111 is the only Alpha model I have (and boy.. I have a few) to do this so if this is right, does that mean all the others are wrong?? In fact, I'll go as far as saying I don't have any other model that does this when the settings are set at 'Easy'.

I wonder if something is not correct in the 'Weight And Balance' section of the aircraft.cfg? I've had aircraft fly goofy when the pilot was "fatter" than the co-pilot. Just a guess.

I think it would have to be something a bit more than excess rostbratwerst onboard Brian  As I mentioned before, had I not constantly corrected the heading.. I'd have missed the UK and from Calais.. that is not encouraging. Perhaps these German chaps were much better pilots than we gave them credit for  Could be a weight/balance issue but I'm surprised no one has reported it over at Alpha.. or do they all engage AP when 10ft off the ground

Wasn't the first bombing of London a mistake by a lost German bomber crew.........was that an HE.111?

Thought they were over the sea :dunno:

At last.. the truth comes to light!! This would be extremely funny had I not been me who'd spent $60 (not $50) NZD :brick:

I've just tried this little beast in FS9 again and it's flown straight and level (well, straight anyway) with the sliders on Easy. Wish I could explain why but I can't. Don't be tempted to turn the sliders up full though. Arnie S would have trouble hanging on

By coincidence the latest issue of Flypast has a Luftwaffe special. One of the many articles covers captured Luftwaffe types. I must say the Stuka in particular looks most strange in RAF markings!

For anyone not wanting to part with well earned cash, there is a quite decent freeware alternative by Groundcrew design.

Originally for CFS2, there is also a FS9 update. Lots of repaints available too.
