I rather suspect that you enjoyed that Peter.I have also d/ld'd it but haven't had time to use it yet because we are supposed to moving house on Friday and don't yey know whether it's on or off. However, if it's anything like the BAC 1-11 it will be superb and I greatly look forward to flying it.Aren't we so lucky to have such brilliant modellers.Best Wishes EricT

Amazing how everyone has their own favorite - I trotted Delta Lima out in DanDare colours but Im biased
India Lima I havnt played with because colour scheme came after my departure from DAN.

Ill have to spot PDL at Manchester or Newcastle and get some screenies.

I know - mores the pity - now I need to find paints of Double Diamond and Dirty Balls Dumb question Garry

what happened to Delta Kilo - to my memory she was the lightest of the 4s in Dan Airs fleet - and supposedly

would outclimb the 4Bs (Which had a reputation to being the "hotrods" of the Comet fleet.)

I think it was PDK that Dan Air swapped for the York G-ANTK

The York had been donated to the Air Scouts at Lasham and Dan Air wanted it back for presevation.

G-APDK was swapped for it and later it was said that Dan Air wanted DK back as it had been their first Comet and they wanted to preserve it

Well that didn't happen and I think it was just broken up and cleared out like so many once proud machines

I didn't realise you were ex-Dan Air, Leif. In that case, here's a rather nice shot of 'DK and 'DO, taken in September 1968, that may stir some memories.
