BEA Keyline

Post by Captain Pugwash »

guess who !

having got hold of some b/w photo's of a c-47 in bae keyline scheme. i need advice on the actual colours that they were painted. ie the markings below the cockpit/ airline name along side/reg number/ then finally the tail section. if per chance anyone has a clear picture of the symbol that was on the tail would be better for me to copy. the only photo's i've been able to find were the one listed in the BA museum web site.

many thanks CptP

HI CP

There were two keyline versions on the Viking

Rick did one and I did the other plus a Rapide

Take a look at those and see which version you want to do on the Dak......there is more than one............they equate to the Viking.
