When does a Sent PM move from your Outbox to your Sent PMs?

That happens when the recipient has read it.

Thanks

I thought so.

Does the system inform the sender if the recipient's box is full?

I don't know...but the recipient should see his box is full and make space.

If it did tell you you couldn't do anything about it anyway...can't send him a PM

All you will know it has not been read yet.

Hi,

The recipient of a PM will always recieve it. If his INBOX is already full then the oldest message will drop off to allow space for the new one.

Hi John

The drop off doesn't seem to happen with this new setup..did on the old.

Now it waits and tells you there is a message waitng and after making space you have to go back and release the message.

Hi Guys,

The way the new system works is that the message won't show in your inbox until you delete old messages.

But after that (and this is the bit that confused me) you need to go back to your inbox and click on the link above the main display which says deliver pending messages (or something like that - I can't remember the exact words) :)
