Hmm, I'll have to take another look at it tonight unless anyone else remembers the steps to get it running. You know it's working when it runs some kind DOS exe that mods the .mdl file. You don't use an actual programme to add the shine, once it's installed you just right-click on mdl file to start it off...

What exactly are you doing, and how did you install it?

I followed the install guide to the letter but when i right click one of the choices under the model.cfg in one of my A/C folders it asks " which program to open" any ideas?
It does list the gloss to matt options but when i select one thats when it goes all 'palooey' ?

I think this is the problem - you need to install the 'shiny' plugin by Ivan Hzu, which I think either incorporates MDLC or works with it. You can get it here:

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?p ... =wuhwuzdat

about 3 paragraphs down the page under 'shiny.zip'. try that out and see how you get on.

Good luck.

Glad they were well-received, Graham, post some pics of them in action when you have a chance. Happy flying!

How does Paul Fosters Vulcan fly and is the panel any good? I'd be tempted to switch to it from the PSS one if it flies a bit better.

Well, not too well 'out of the box' as it were. I think Paul is well aware of the problem, and I made some modifications to the cfg and airfile before I started the repaints - now she flies just fine without the bizarre aileron problem it had before. I can email these modded files over to you if you are interested in testing her out.

Sure, if you don't mind that would be great. E-mail address is in my profile I believe.

Incidentally do you mind if I tweak your flight dynamics at all, or would you sooner they were left "as is"?
