It may be I'm missing some textures, where should the textures for the propellers/engines reside? and/or what are they called, and finally timestamp?

I also may have an old version?

Maybe it's just that screenshot but it looks like the lower wing especially is suffering.

I know it is OK in FS.X as I have seen pics before of it ..the ones Dan mentioned

Is that one of the base texture for the HP on one of the recent add ons?

But no worries .........just an observation on that particular pic

That works a treat Dan... good find. I haven't converted any textures at all.... even to dxt3... they are all as they come...Just going to try this with a certain DH aircraft I'm testing :yipeee:

No it is NOT the reflection, the engines and propellers are actually black (= no texture). The window being dark is a known FS/FSX bug. But if anyone has seen the HP in FSX with textured propellers, I sure am missing something that I really would like to get ... ;-)

Another problem is the cloud/propeller texture problem in FSX, doesn't seem to be a problem for genuine FSX aircraft, but it is for the HP (and also for my AI- BN)

The cloud problem is an issue with all FSDS aircraft in FSX Dan... Particularly noticeable on rotarcraft, but also there on a certain update that will be coming out for a jet, albeit not very noticeable on that model. ;-)

Hi Ben

the cloud problem is FS9 (makemdl.exe) compiled aircraft not just FSDS aircraft.

you will also find that the clouds hide behind canopy glass & this is a FSX bug that Phil Taylor said would be fixed in SP1 but wasn't.
But he did fix the landinglamp spalsh problem so he's not all bad.

Regards
Rick
