XS743 (the VariStab Bassett) is still listed as being active on the Qinetiq site.

Also G-FLYP is owned by Key Publishing. The CofA expired in 2006, but I believe they have plans to get it restored.

Also the B-206X, G-ARRM, is now back at Shoreham and is due to be restored, at least cosmetically. I doubt that it would ever be made airworthy, but it is nice that part of our heritage is being preserved.

Sometimes economy just goes right out of the window, especially in the face of sheer artistry, l place both the EE Lightning and Concorde in that catagory, sometimes cost is nothing to just be able to say you have it, l suppose the Red Arrows are in a similar vein, not very economical but worth every mispent penny in my books.

Looking at the photo of RRM it amazes me that 45 years later she still looks on the cutting edge of light twins.
