For those interested we (at HJG) have just today released a brand new repaint of this particular aircraft in 1978 AIR MAURITIUS livery .... beautifully done my mastercraftsman Tony MADGE.
See the HJG B707-420 downloads section on the HJG website .... I'm not sure but I think this particular aircraft was a BOAC/BRITISH AIRWAYS/AIRTOURS original prior her AIR MAURITIUS lease.
Also .... for those whom enjoy flying Ben HARTMANN's beautiful hybrid repaints of NATO E3 aircraft. We have just today resolved a model problem which previously caused aircraft registrations to erroneously display on the inboard surfaces of both radome pylons.
A new E3 Aircraft Base Pack has been uploaded to the E3 downloads section of the HJG website and should resolve the abovementioned prooblem .... please update your models accordingly !
Enjoy

I know you think you understand what you thought I said but what you thought you heard is not what I meant !
G-APFD, an original BOAC aircraft was still with BA Airtours at this time.
It was used by Air Mauritius do a once a week service at the end of which it had maintenance and was transferred to Gatwick for the bucket and spade trips over the weekend.
On the Monday it positioned back to Heathrow and the cycle continued.
G-APFD was later replaced by G-ARWD, also in full Air Mauritius livery.

Mark, the E-3 basepack is still showing an April date, is that correct?
Thanks to all, as ever, for this great selection of repaints.
