Now you mention it.. yes! :shock: Two.. maybe 3 types of airport perim' fencing is not what I want to see on finals. Let's hope it's cheap :worried:

Scotflight for FSX Vol 1 - Highlands and Islands includes is a dedicated Flight Plan file which places AI traffic at all the airfields listed above apart from Flotta.

AI Boat traffic
AI boat traffic is included for the following lochs:

Loch Ness
Loch Oich
Loch Lochy
And also on the following sea route:

Isle of Mull to Iona
'Ships & Ferries' option must be activated in FSX AI Traffic settings to see boat traffic.

Bridges
The following are either added or enhanced and carry moving traffic:-
Skye Bridge
Kessock Bridge
Ballachulish Bridge
Connel Bridge
Oil terminals
Sullom Voe ( Adjacent to Scatsta Airfield )
Flotta ( near added airstrip )
Canals
Caledonian - Inverness to Fort william
Crinan - Crinan ( N56 05 39.89, W05 33 19.07 ) to Ardrishaig ( nearest airfield - Oban )
Castles and forts
Balmoral Castle
Lewis Castle - Stornoway

The scenery also includes an accurate redraw of the whole Scottish coastline and inland lochs ( and lake!).

Beaches
The scenery also adds some sandy beaches in the areas featured in this volume.

Detailed roads
Detailed roads are added in many of the areas featured.

Moving road traffic
Traffic is added on the following roads :-

A850/A87 Broadford Airfield ( Isle of skye ) to Invergarry ( meets A82 Fort William to Inverness )
A85/A828/A82/A96 Oban Ferry Terminal and Airport to Inverness Airport
A9 Kingussie ( passing Cairngorm Gliding Club ) via Kessock Bridge, Inverness, to near Golspie ( just north of Dornoch airfield )
It is intended this moving traffic will provide easy navigation between quite a few of the featured airfields.
*It is recommended if traffic is turned on to have a setting between 30-50%

Bonus feature!
At every airfield with a fire station there will be a little fire practice around 10.00am!

Some nice touches there.

Nice to see Scotland covered in detail..at least it's a start :smile:

I don't suppose they will be able to have moving traffic down in SE England......not if they want to be realistic :think:

Dear me.. I never read any of that.. I just paid the money and downloaded :lol: Am I a trusting soul or what :worried:

EDIT..
Seeing around 15fps at Inverness (half the norm) but it's not too bad. At least my FSX Inverness actually LOOKS like Inverness now :lol:
