Hi,

Think it was Trev with the nav lights visible but he had actually got them turned off. It's one of the things M$ can't always get right. Other players nav lights weren't visible even when switched on as a test. I guess some things M$ will never get round to fixing properly. All was not lost though as I wouldn't have been able to continue were it not for those nav lights as I had aircraft labels turned off and I only occasionally got glimpses of DaveB and Ben. I managed to get to the Mohne and Eder Dams before I lost connection.

Been onto Linksys helpline this morning and they have declared my router officially dead and have approved an RMA. Good job I still had my old router kicking about.

Morning Playmates

We had a little difficulty deciding where to line up for the photocall at Scampton so launch was delayed slightly (4mins). Roll began at 2134 and Ben and I touched down at 0240 (5hr6m). Never has the North Sea been such a pleasant sight

As already mentioned.. we lost Eddie crossing the Dutch coast.. John was jammed shortly after release at target 2 and Trev put down west of Dortmund on the way back (he's an hour ahead of us in Spain so I don't blame him).

An immense amount of fun and something totally different to what we normally do here. VMT to all who were able to join us

The 'lights' issue is very much as John described and down to FSX I'm afraid. I had my nav lights on but John couldn't see them. When John's were on, I couldn't see them. Trev had his off and everyone could see them :shock: Anyway.. we were so low that no one would have been able to get a crosshair on us!

It's also worth noting that I was the only aircraft with navaids so the troops did a fine job staying with me. Trying to follow a black Lancaster, at night, at sub 500ft, flying blind to all intents is not as easy as it seems

I have just made my way from Germany to Spain, from where I had to land last night (02.00hrs and an early start this morning for a Spanish class before the 40C temps crank in).

Here are some shots, I know they are dark....IT WAS DARK and although really absorbing, it took a huge amount of concentration.
Keeping in close proximity at 200ft and in the dark! Hats off to the real 617 guys, they did in a blackout!!!!

Now, does Rick's JP5 work in FSX, I fancy a four ship aerobatic team, anybody remember The Poachers and fancy a try?
