Aerobatics over Kilimanjaro...

Post by petermcleland »

Not really a screenshot, but I was scanning some old photographs from about 1959 and I thought I would put this one up...Can't remember if I've posted it before :worried: ...If I have done, then forgive a senior moment

Thanks for looking

I think you have posted this shot before Peter but no need to apologise for the senior moment as it's great to see it again. You can almost smell the old newsprint

BTW...I'm afraid I didn't get to Duxford and it looks as if I will fail to make RIAT as well...My dear wife is promissing me the Culdrose Air Day

I think it was quite a long time ago Peter so may not be on the database now.

Will be new to many

Rgr that Peter. Better book that weekend off again for next year (I'll send another reminder)

Surprisingly.. my 14-year-old daughter has asked if we can go to RIAT this year (shock horror) so I'm obliged to go (if the wx forecast is kind). Expect to see DaveG there

Thanks for showing Peter, remember something about that some time ago but cannot recall seeing the newspaper report.....but then again, it was some time ago!

Peter : I'm pretty certain we haven't seen the article before . We have certainly seen Mac (26) before , even if he does look about 40 so that you'd be about 90 now!

Remember you posting this before but doesnt hurt to see it again... 4 Hunters in formation over a spectacular location, something that will never happen again I shouldnt think, must have been an unforgettable experience!
