Nice Jason

Have you painted the ladder out (for the pax) or isn't it on all versions?? Not flown this for so long, I've quite forgotten

That was one of the first flying models I ever built...

Rubber Powered.

Flew once and wrecked. Balsa chippings...

The nect one I believe, was a hurricane. Kiel Kraft? Was that the name? Great fun! Balsa, tissue (bless me) and dope. Ahhh them was the days.

Remember those "penny, chuck gliders"? I saw some in my local model shop on the weekend - cost was about the equivalent of two pounds fifty! That's 600 pennies.

The Lizzy cost me a month's pocket money including dope and glue. (a "Lady" if anyone remembers the term) :sleepy:

Dave,

I may be wrong - probably am, in fact - but I was under the impression that the ladder was a feature of the 'Special Ops' version, along with the tank under the fuselage.

Maybe somebody can provide some more definite enlightenment?

Best,
Myles

No Myles.. you're probably right. Coincidental that I was watching a 'real' one fly yesterday and that example was Special Ops. It's easy to forget that Lysanders were used in a number of roles even though we all associate it with dropping into dark, French fields in the dead of night

Great repaints, Jason. If anyone knows the secret to landing the Alphasim Lizzie without stalling 5 ft off the deck I'd appreciate them sharing it. Those spies/agents would be kissing the "dark, French fields" after one of my landings.
