Due to popular requests around the general flightsim community, we have decided to introduce a new line of products to the IRIS catalog which will be EXCLUSIVE to our store. As such, these products will not be available to purchase from Simmarket, FSPilotShop or PC Aviator.
IRIS Lite! will feature the latest product, the IRIS EAP and depending on customer feedback will likely then roll out to the entire product range. IRIS Lite! products will feature a cutback version of the IRIS premium range software at a fraction of the cost!
The IRIS Lite! E.A.P. will feature only the single EAP demonstrator and does NOT include the Cyclone, Vortex or Tempest models. In addition, the IRIS Lite! products do not feature soundpacks or paintkits.
However, the Lite product line DOES still feature 2D and 3D cockpits as normal as well as FS9 and FSX versions if applicable.
Essentially IRIS Lite! products are a perfect opportunity for those unsure of paying out the big bucks for the full package to get a nice taster for a price that's not going to break the bank!
Grab the IRIS Lite! E.A.P. for FS9 and FSX here at a bargain price of $12.99 AUD (approx $10.50 USD)

Ah yesh, there is reason in my madness... I for one agree that prices have been increasing over time with payware, and whilst I also agree that fluctuating exchange rates and cost of living in certain countries has a LOT to do with it, I think that sometimes the prices from certain areas are a little too high for what you get... just my two cents (because that's all I can afford! lol). And I don't want to open THAT can of worms.
So I decided to take a gamble and release a few products in cutback form to see whether or not the buying public would put their money where their mass mouths are as such. I've had a few people saying to me if I reduce my prices, I'd sell more units and I got an absolute asswhipping (can I say asswhipping?!?!) from reviews on FSPilotshop about providing to many visual models in our products.
So with the IRIS Lite range, we thought right...let's cut back to one model, one texture, no soundpack or paintkit but leave everything else in! That way people can pay a smaller amount and then hunt the freeware sites for a soundpack to use and download the many freeware paints to add as and when they please.
As of yet I've not had a huge amount of sales (people still want to buy the full pack for some reason)...maybe they're not as stingy as me! lol
but feedback from people is quite positive about the whole Lite! range idea.
DaveB I'm not sure what you mean about the F-14 Lite, I did do a demo version of an early beta which was actually really positive in providing widespread awareness of the product.. I'm presuming that's what you mean't...although it didn't have a panel etc..(mainly because I'd not even got that far! lol) Slack, yes I know.
After all, they don't call me 'half a job Brice' for nothing!
Anyway, I've got to get to bed, it's 3.45am here and I've got a nasty case of Bronchitis courtesy of my 5 year old! Kids...who'd have them.. :yipeee:

Hi David
Looks like "Paymate" is an Antipodean clone of Paypal to me.
But i need another one like a hole in the head
Why can't they just use Paypal like the rest of the world
rather than introduce their own which in my view as the only souce of payment avaiable is lmiting your sales considerably.
(rant over)
:kissu:
Regards
Rick
