IRIS EAP Out Now!!!
Shes been released over at IRIS store!!!
Don't know if it's just me (and, to be fair, I haven't got this yet, so I'm basing my assumption on the published screenshots) but those fuselage pylons look a touch on the large side.
I seem to recall that the dummy Sparrows were carried "semi-conformally" and that the pylons were very mini. A quick look at the Barrie Hygate plans didn't change my opinion either. :sad: It's a shame, as I think an EAP would look good on my system, but I suspect it's not going to be this one.

I see what you mean, I did query the size of the BOZ and Skyshadow but they turned out to be exactly on the money size wise, it's just the size of the aircraft and the unusual perspective that makes them look odd under the EAP until you get used to the idea. I think the current layout works best in all of the hypotheticals (The Tempest, Vortex and Cyclone) as it facilitates a slightly better arrangement around the fuselage however I do agree it looks off for the actual EAP ZF534 prototype. I've made a post in the IRIS Staff forums about this to see if it was part of the original master plan to have the layout like this or not.

Yep, it was/is a fairly small aircraft, so the ECM & Boz pods are about right. It is the main fuselage pylons that concern me. Compare them with these photographs:

I'm not a 'rivet counter', but sometimes errors are just a little too glaring to overlook (a bit like Itosan's Swift FR5 with the Fireflash missiles). A pity, as I've been a fan of David's stuff since early DSB days and have bought everything else, but I just can't bring myself to get this one, even if it is the only game in town. :sad:

Bear in mind that's just the Cyclone in the posted images, there are two other model types in the package, the Tempest (an in service version of the EAP) and the Vortex (a carrier based version).
