Canberra T.22 repaints

Hello all,

Latest Cranberry news: Paul has finished his rather nice T.22 model which I just finished painting up. In this case, its FRADU 853 from RNAS Yeovilton, mid 1980s. She looks a lovely bird, long-nose Canberra fans will love this one

Check 'em out, feedback as always appreciated!

That looks fantastic, if Paul has finished some of these, when will he be uploading any, at this rate I will be spending a week on line trying to get them all at once

YEs, he's finished some, but I don't think he's uploading any until he finishes the whole series. He's currently finishing off the B(I).8 series I believe so it shouldn't be too much longer but it's a fair amount of work he's doing. I think he deserves a medal after the project is complete - or a few pints at least

Yes, she is indeed pointy - but something about the Bucaneer nose appeals to me. Looks sleek next to the T.4 flying with her.

Certainly a sharpish looking Canberra with a birds beak look to the nose. Will be fun to add to the growing collection.

I remember doing this conversion on the old Airfix Canberra. Can't remember who produced the conversion bits, but it was all in white metal, definitely stopped any possibility of it being a tailsitter!

That'l have been CScale, the kings of white metal.

I still have quite a few of their little white boxes stopping the floor of my loft from blowing away..........

Dat's da bunny! Milslides (of blessed memory) opened a shop on Streatham High Road, close to where I was living at the time. Cost me an absolute fortune!!

BTW Steve, any news on a release date yet? And do I have to buy a new hard drive to store all your repaints?

LOL, yes Andy, you will need two new hard drives at least, much to everyone's dread, they will be extended 32 bit, so expect large files, hahah!

As for the release, trust me, I wait everyday for the email from Paul, talk about anticipation. The last I heard, he was close, but had decided to do a few MORE variants, including the fabled Shorts SC.9. I supplied him reference shots and that was the last I heard, which was about a week ago. It's got to be soon.

Or I'll book a flight over to Blighty and help him finish them myself (even though I don't know GMax!)

As for the white metal parts, I have been after some of them myself recently but they always go for large sums on Ebay. If anyone, (Kit) has any and would be willing to trade for some other Canberra parts, just let me know. And as for a tail-sitter, Andy, Andy, really. Blu-Tack or plasticine with fishing weights applied liberally in the nose and behind the wheel well should do it!
