what if?

Post by John »

Started this ages ago and with the Vulcan 'grey' repaint that was recently posted... it's prompted me to finish it. Besides I should really learn to repaint properly, I can't always ask Jason

What's wrong with that...looks excellent to me.

Maybe not so much of a what if but a should have been :dunno:

A little support in the right places may well have got the problems solved but noise if not..or indeed should not be an issue with military if the function and usefulness of a design warrants it use.

I would have loved to have seen BEA versions lining up to land at Westland heliport... and noise be buggered!

Thanks Gary... I sort of get away with it, but really haven't got a clue what i'm doing

I have to say that Mr Ito excelled himself on the original model

It looks good in most schemes...

Did I imagine it, or was there an update for the FSD for the 'dyne to give true VTO?

It would have been a Rob Barendregt mod. I suspect, but I can't find it on any node or in my update folders anywhere.

Kit

The file I have is: - rcbhc-up.zip by Rob Barendregt.

Supported aircraft:

- The UMKIL/ALPHASIM Harrier (original package: ukmashr.zip on flightsim.com)
Besides the new VTOL, these files (aircraft.cfg / panel.cfg ) also solves some other
problems as well:
- Accurate flaps/nozzle animations and needle display in the VTOL gauge.
- Fuel load/dump gauge now works as it should.
- The gun sound (Shift-F4) now works as well.

- My VTOL addon to Alphasim's V22 Osprey (original package: rcbhca12.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com)

- My freeware bundle of Vlad Zhyhulskiy's visual V22 Osprey model (original package: rcbhcf10.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com)

- My VTOL addon to Sigma/Iris' GR.7/9 Harrier (original package: rcbhcd10.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com)

- My VTOL addon to Adam Preece's GR.7 Harrier (original package: rcbhcb11.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com)

- My VTOL addon to Iris' F35B JSF (original package: rcbhce10.zip on flightsim.com and avsim.com)

- The UMKIL FRS1 and FRA2 SeaHarrier (original package: ukmilrs1.zip on http://www.flightsim.com)

Hi Guys

Is it my Imagination or has Mr Ito pinched my HS.748 spinning prop texture for the Rotordyne? :worried:

Can certainly see where you're coming from.

The actual bitmap itself isn't particularly convincing, but check out the alpha channels (looks as if he's just blurred it, to mask the DXT compression):

Hi Tweek

Mine was in 888 32 bit originally but somehow it got messed up after the initial release.

I borrowed the Alpha Channel with permission from it's original Author.

Just looked familiar in the Rotodyne shots.

Rick
