Is there a Harvard out there

Post by Christhekeeper »

Hi All

Have just been watching the Harvard out of Shoreham on one of its pleasure flights, dives & acrobatics etc. which set me wondering. Anyone know where I can find a Harvard for FS9 / FSX?
Many thanks
Chris

Hi Garry

Thanks for that, had scanned some of the forums but hadn't spotted that link.

I'll read the comments carefully before taking the plunge to buy. In the meantime I'll keep watching the real thing and listening to the lovely noise as it climbs and dives

I was and suppose still am an Aeroworx beta tester. Project has been put on hold due to the creator's busy lifes, so to speak and according to the powers that be, it will be released in due course. But as they are not concentrating on their Baron and Caravan, I wouldn't hold your breath.

It is superb (well I would say that) and so close to the real thing. Now I'm not allowed even to show any screenshots (you'll just have to take my word for it), but it is very very accurate.

If you want a good and fair representation of the type, then by all means go for the Alphasim version, which has a superb choice of colour schemes available on the net, but awaiting in the wings is the skyunlimited version, so either take the plunge or wait. Its a bit like waiting for a bus....nothing for ages and then they all turn up together!!

Best wishes,

Martin

I'm not sure what paint job the Harvard at Shoreham is currently carrying but there is a repaint for the Alphasim Harvard of the Shoreham warbird as she was a couple of years back when I rode in her.

If you get the Alphasim bird drop me a pm and I'll dig out tthe details of the repaint.

If you ever get the chance to have a flight, take it. One of the best half hours I've spent outside a bedroom.
