I don't think it's meant for this planet........

Is the model payare or freeware?

This is a classic freeware no fictional site So this needs to be put in it's proper place :dunno:

You could of course always start out by placing screenshots in the Gallery, and then take it from there hinch

I didn't know whether to bring these shots here or not, but as a Spitfire tribute repaint I thought somebody may like to see it, it certainly is a classic bit of Flight Simulator this model and I know many people here have it.

It is the SF260 2005 from RealAir, so it's not even a 'heads up'

- i've tried that! But this plane is not British or in Britain so it's in the not British gallery section. As i said, this is classic flight sim and a classic paint job

Looks like it has G-JEDI as a reg which is a FlyBe Dash Eight.

Also in no way is that paint classic in the terms meant by this site. :huf:

Yes indeed matey  I have to say it doesn't cock my bow at all.. not even as a tribute. In order to do that.. you get a Spitfire and paint it up as Johnnys aircraft (already done) but some will like it

I quite like it, I must admit I enjoy applying classic schemes to other aircraft (some classic Bucc schemes to the IRIS F-35 for example) or even just coming up with completely fictional ones. It's fun, and one of the great things about our hobby is it lets us try out these things that simply could be done in real life due to cost or a number of other reasons. I'll also happily admit to applying my own made up schemes to classic British aircraft like the Hunter and the Bucc, simply because it's fun. I think there are a lot of talented repainters out there who are completely lacking in imagination which is a crying shame, and stick to 100% accurate repaints all of the time.

Anyway, I digress completely. I do quite like that repaint as I think it goes quite well with the lines of the SF260. Is it available for download anywhere?

Nothing wrong with fiction.....but fiction is not what we do here.
